Yes, they can.
They can extract our spirit body from our physical bodies and take us to places or different dimensions this way. Before I got smart and figured out that they are always up to something evil, I would allow them to do this out of curiosity. I got taught a good lesson about this by one event that happened on one of these trips. One night a demon grabbed my spirit body and I didn’t fight him. He took me to what I believe was a part of hell. I was at odds with these demons, but I couldn’t get ahold of my curiosity about spirit traveling and visiting other dimensional realms. At this time, demons were still trying to groom me to go over to their side and work for Satan. I refused to do this and had made them mad. The demon that was navigating this trip led me into a place where there was a large door covered in a black curtain. When we went into this room everything was dark. As soon as we entered I got hit in my face and eyes with a red, glittery powder. I panicked and abruptly went back into my body. When I did this, I opened my physical eyes. I asked the demon what that red powder was and he told me that it was meant to compromise my sight. I got up and went into my bathroom. In my left eye I had a circular shadow that appeared and was affecting my vision. I immediately grabbed my anointing oil and began to pray to Jesus to heal my eyes. I then called a prayer line to pray for for the healing and reversal of any damage that had been done. Fortunately, and because of the Lords mercy and grace, the shadow disappeared and I can still see fine to this day.
I learned a very valuable lesson that day. Never trust a demon. The saying “curiosity killed the cat” is 100% applicable to doing ANYTHING that a demon wants you to do. Do not cooperate. If they do grab ahold of your spirit body, fight them and don’t let them take you anywhere. Even if they actually take you somewhere nice, spirit traveling, without it being navigated by God, is prohibited. When you do this you are trespassing into His realm. He doesn’t want us to do this because there are many dangers in the astral or spirit realms, usually involving demons. They hate us and when you go trespassing on their territory, even if its under the guidance of one of them, this gives them permission to do something terrible to you. If you want to experience the spirit realm, ask God, aka Jesus Christ, to reveal it to you. He may. He may not. The important thing is that you have His permission to go there and you are not going illegally. For certain prophets and seers, the Lord will take us places Himself. This happened to the Apostle Paul and it has happened to me. This is not a common occurrence, but if it does happen, you need to make sure that you are under Gods protection.
