So, you were duped and allowed yourself to be mistreated. Yes, I said “allowed” because in reality no one can mistreat you unless you let them mistreat you. However, the fact remains that you were hurt in some way, most likely emotionally and you are impatiently waiting for the Karmic Kickback to get that perpetrator and knock them on their derriere.

You’ve been down this road before and have witnessed a few S.O.B.s get theirs but what’s the deal this time?

The Universal Balancing Act does have some stipulations actually depending on the severity.

Instant Gratification – Perhaps someone cut you off in traffic or stepped in front of you in that store line and they get arrested or called out by other store line customers. Conversely, perhaps you did a random act of kindness and someone bought you a cup of coffee or picked up your mail for you.

The Time Grind – You’ve watched people perpetrate the rotten sides of their natures and seem to get away with it. If you are really paying attention, most likely things have been slowly eroding over time for them. Maybe their relationships or jobs have fallen apart. More importantly their integrity and peace of mind have eroded and are heading for rock bottom.

The Big Kickback – You see the big Karmic Slap Down – finally. (If you see it, you are lucky because sometimes it requires yet another lifetime of dealing with this person.) Here’s what you need to know about that one.

They may have gotten punched in the gut but where is head at? The most important thing is that you realize it isn’t about revenge or any thing brutal but what you have actually learned from the experience and if you are able to cleanse yourself of any toxic patterns and get on with it. That is when the Karmic Cycle ends – when the reoccurring pattern has ceased. The Debt is paid.

There is healing work to do on your own behalf now.

  • Recognize the sense of relief and weight lifting you feel.
  • People and things that used to bother you and even drive you up the wall cease to be THAT important. They lose their punch in the gut status because you simply don’t care.
  • The Universe separates you from them so the urge to fight diminishes and is then completely released.
  • You literally become smarter because the fog has been lifted. You view difficult events as teachers that have done a hell of a good job. You can now grasp the bigger picture that you are actually not lacking and have no need to repeat bad patterns and that a karmic cycle is a repeating pattern of life experiences designed to teach your soul a specific lesson. You have gained Karmic closure.

Don’t want to wait?

There are some enlightened humans out there that will sometimes choose Karmic Closure on situations. They of course realize that they may or may not have to repeat the lesson in another lifetime but feel the necessity of getting rid of it at the current time to be able to move forward. This requires setting definite and impenetrable boundaries and completely detaching themselves from the situation which can be more difficult that it sounds. They forgive perpetrators without requiring an apology or any kind of redress. AND they have forgiven themselves for missing any red flags involving the situation or person.

Moving forward, choosing Karmic Closure can also bring about Déjà vu which can be extremely helpful as it serves as almost instant recognition of something or someone from the past that needs to avoided. “I’ve done this before” equates to “I don’t need to do this again.” Psychologically, this is called repetition compulsion—the unconscious decision to repeat traumatic experiences to control the past.

You do have choices and Karma is watching.

What will you do next?
