Summer Magic

COLLECTIVE READINGS

Today’s Runemal and Lunar Right Action Aspects, Today’s Planetary Algorithm, and Morals and Missives are posted daily and cover general collective readings suitable for all.

~TODAY’S RUNEMAL~

The Runes constitute one of the most ancient forms and means of divination. Used in concert with the daily nature of the Moon, the Ancients discovered the perfect guide for personal conduct and timely action.

~TODAY’S RUNE~

RAIDO

KEYWORDS: ATTUNEMENT, UNION, JOURNEY

Virtues:  Clear Conveyance and Direction

Daily Theme: RAIDO is known as the Rune of COMMUNICATION. You are your own teacher. You literally commune with yourself. That’s called introspection. What will you find on your journey of self-healing and self-change? Regulate any excesses in your life and stand apart from like-minded others because strength in numbers doesn’t apply here. Stop trying to make things happen. As obstructions give way naturally the remorse attached to doing so will vanish. Raido speaks to us of the ending of a journey. Whether it is the journey within or a physical journey you embarked on, you now can see the value in your efforts. Raido reminds us that the path we walk in life is a journey of the body, a journey of the mind, and a journey of the soul. Each (body, mind or soul) may respond to stimuli differently, but they are all separate aspects of the entirety of the self. The body provides the stimulus for the mind. The soul directs the mind to a higher course. The mind incorporates the stimulus of the body and the directives of the soul to create the journey of life. Be patient. Good things come to those who wait.

Today, crystal practitioners and advocates should work with Chrysoprase (Clear communication and courage through fluent speech and mental dexterity).

Lunar Right Action Aspects: If you are feeling emotional pressure just remember you cannot force rationality on others who stubbornly refuse to listen. Focus on your instinctive leadership skills and be decisive but not rash. Change up a few planes to make things run more smoothly.

TODAY’S PLANETARY ALGORITHM

Astro-Advice Rhythm For Today

# 22 #

Collective Primary Planetary influences:   Mercury, Saturn, Uranus

Secondary Planetary influences: Jupiter

Expect the unexpected … a mixed bag of luck yet uncomfortable feelings because of things you may have to do that pop up as responsibilities. Use caution if engaging the stock market.  Lucky numbers for the day are 3, 5 and 6 with 6 being the most fortuitous. Lucky hours are from morning to midday.

MORALS AND MISSIVES

Advice From La Strega …

It is wise to acknowledge that the Earth does not belong to us, we belong to the Earth.  To say otherwise is ego and not wisdom. The goal of life is to live in harmony with nature. If you look deeply into nature, you will gain an understanding of everything that exists. If you can adopt the pace of nature, you will find her secret is patience. With patience you can accomplish all.  If your life is not working – change it. How? Focus on what IS working. What nurtures you?  What small thing gives you joy? Don’t tell me it’s nothing. Don’t tell me you no longer care. When you do that, it lets me know you are lazy and have allowed yourself to slip into a toxic space. Examine it. You have a choice. You have always had a choice – To do or not do – To accept or reject. Why are you accepting what is dark within you and without you and denying what is light and fresh? It is time to align. Only you know what that is. Push out from the inner you. Stop moaning and bitching. Change what can be changed, work with what cannot. What do you want to learn?  What do you want to share?  What do you want in your spiritual practices?  When and how do you connect with your others? Seek the balance even if you have been leaning heavily in one direction for a while. Care for your body as well as your mind and spirit. Let your inner self express itself. As the expression goes, ‘dance as if no one was looking’.  Learn to read signs and omens in nature. There is magic within them. There is magic within you. Use it.

NATURE’S DAILY CHOICE

ROSE

In the garden of our spiritual journey, the rose blooms as a radiant symbol of love in its purest form. Just as the rose effortlessly opens its petals to the world, love invites us to embrace vulnerability and reveal our true selves. It serves as a gentle reminder that the act of loving unconditionally can lead to a blossoming of our own hearts, spreading its fragrance to those around us. The rose is also deeply connected to the Priestess path and the lineage known as the Rose Lineage. This lineage is associated with the sacred feminine and the teachings of the rose’s wisdom as it relates to Venus (whose orbit creates a 5-petaled rose in the sky). The Rose path is rooted in esoteric traditions and ancient wisdom, particularly within the context of the symbolism of the rose. Throughout history, roses have been associated with healing properties and therapeutic benefits. Their essence has been used in various ancient traditions to soothe the mind, uplift the spirit, and restore emotional balance. In the realm of spirituality, the rose holds the power to rejuvenate our weary souls, offering solace, hope, and comfort in times of distress. Its essence can remind us to take moments of self-care, cultivate stillness within, and nurture our own well-being. The rose is often seen as a symbol of the union between the divine feminine and masculine energies. Its soft petals represent the nurturing and compassionate aspects of the feminine, while the sturdy stem and thorns symbolize the strength and protection associated with the masculine. Embracing both aspects within ourselves allows us to find balance and harmony, fostering a deeper connection with our own spirituality and eventually, strengthening our awareness of living as a complex and beautiful human being. The Rose represents the unfolding of love, both earthly and divine, and is often associated with the heart chakra. Different colors of roses carry specific meanings, but the overall rose symbolizes growth, nourishment, and the journey of spiritual development. In some traditions, the rose’s symmetrical structure is seen as a representation of sacred geometry and the divine order of the universe. Considered as the emblem of guidance, its fragrance is a way of consciousness for the development of the being.

CONTEMPLATION STATION

~KARMA~

What you give, is given back. What you take, is taken back. That is the law of karma. Karma is a type of spiritual debt or credit we accumulate that attracts payback experiences, ones that compensate for the choices we made in the past. If you made choices to help others in need, that brings you positive karma and perhaps in the future you will be helped in return. If you have chosen to hurt others who were innocent, that gives your negative karma, and sooner or later you may experience that pain for yourself.

The law of karma is easy to misunderstand or misapply, and some people reject it because they perceive it wrongly. For in- stance, the point of negative karma is to help you understand what you ignored when you made your negative choice. The experience is merely there to help you learn or remember that lesson in the deepest way possible. Those who misunderstand karma might conclude that if you are faced with a painful experience (like being abused) that you should let it happen since you obviously deserved it by having previously caused the same pain to another. On the contrary, even if the situation is a form of paying back negative karma, since it is the lesson that counts, once you understand that abuse is wrong (the core lesson) you can and must stand up for yourself and end the abusive experience.

Karma begins and ends with choice. In the case of negative karma, it begins with the choice to violate oneself or another and ends with the choice to undo and prevent further damage
by understanding the problem that caused it. If there is no choice, there is no karma. Therefore if someone is forced against his will to harm another, he acquires little or no karma other
than what regrets he might have for getting into that situation. One example is soldiers at war—if they kill an enemy soldier in a life or death situation, they have killed a human being and that seems wrong, but this causes less karma than if they were back home and killed their neighbor who posed no threat. And yet, if they signed up voluntarily for the military, this does bring a little karma that might teach them next time (perhaps in another life) to make a wiser decision. Another example would be executioners at death row prisons—they are the ones who kill convicts, sometimes innocent men falsely accused, but the choice to execute was that of the judicial system and not them in particular, therefore they don’t receive as much negative karma beyond what follows from their choice to even get that job.

Karma accumulated in one life may carry over into the next life. Some of the painful experiences we undergo may originate in the choices we made in a previous life. This irritates people who think it’s unfair that we should be affected by choices we don’t even remember, that it would be like going to jail for unknown crimes. On the one hand, forgetting our previous lives can indeed cause us to stubbornly repeat the same mistake. On the other hand, the lessons in negative karmic experiences are sufficiently generic and self-contained that they don’t require you to remember specifically what originally set them in motion. Learning it the generic way ensures that it is your soul that learns and not just the mechanical aspect of your brain. When the brain remembers painful consequences of past actions, it then avoids similar actions to avoid similar consequences, but that kind of learning does not come from within the soul because even lowly animals learn that way. When such animals are made to forget their mistakes, they repeat them endlessly and mechanically. And yet the soul can do much better because instead of relying solely upon memory or programmed instinct, it can directly and immediately understand the deeper nature of the problem and act in the moment. The lesson has integrated into the soul at a deep level. So not superficially remembering what specifically brought you negative karma should not cause despair because
moral understanding is all that’s needed.

Knowing the law of karma is important for several reasons. First, it urges you to be more careful with your choices, words, and actions because these have consequences that will eventually return to you. How you affect the world now determines how the world will affect you later. Second, it makes you look for the deeper meaning behind your current unavoidable life conditions, allowing you to better understand and accept that which you cannot change. And third, you can put an end to otherwise avoidable painful experiences by finding and applying the missed lessons that keep attracting them.

Universally and Cosmically this is a period of Karma. The planet Saturn (the planet of Karma) has gone retrograde in the sign of Aries in Western Astrology and in the sign of Pisces in Vedic Astrology. While it is not uncommon for Saturn to go retrograde (it does this retrograde motion for approximately 4-1/2 months every year or approximately 38% of the time). This particular retrograde has been getting a lot of attention from the media because of analysis in both Western and Vedic astrology and its ties to the current status of the world and of course the influences of other planets that are indicating it’s a time to “pay up”. The Period will last from July 26 2026 until December 11, 2026.

This journey begins in the sign of Aries, which puts the focus on accountability. Are you taking responsibility for your current situation or blaming others? If you’re pointing the finger toward someone else, this retrograde may force you to look in the mirror. Saturn is inviting reflection around responsibility, boundaries, discipline, and long-term goals. When Saturn appears to move backward, astrology encourages reassessment rather than new beginnings. This particular retrograde of Saturn is also a time of Karmic Debts being paid. Ever wonder why certain people seem to get away with all the wrong-doing they have perpetuated over the years and no justice seems to happen? You may see it during this retrograde period. Don’t however discount this when it comes to  your “self” because it applies to you as well. You will have to step up and avoid the blame game which was always a good excuse and an even better place to hide. On the other hand, if don’t like the way your past decisions are playing out, this retrograde can help you rewrite the next chapter. Revisit goals—and refine them. Guard against laziness or “giving up.” Learn the art of “no” if you are overly committed. The signs that will be most affected are Aries, Capricorn, and Aquarius may feel Saturn retrograde most strongly, along with anyone who has prominent planets in Aries. However, all zodiac signs are impacted in different areas of life. While the retrograde may feel challenging at times, it ultimately helps build resilience, clarity, and self-mastery. Expect your perspective to shift – what is it telling you?  Stay in your lane and  do not swerve into criticizing others or casting judgment until you know the full story. Practice what you preach.

PEOPLE ETHICS

As people in this world, and good citizens, we are concerned not only with what actions are morally right and morally wrong, but what makes actions morally right or morally wrong.  The key is to understand the reasoning that we employ in ethical decision making so we can become more proficient.

What Makes a Person Ethical?
  • Moral Principles: Ethical individuals adhere to a code of conduct that guides them in deciding what is right and wrong.
  • Beyond Self-Interest: Ethical thinking goes beyond personal desires to consider the interests of other people, communities, and even society as a whole.
  • Character and Habits: Being an ethical person requires developing good character, including consistent habits of behavior.
  • Integrity and Accountability: Ethical people are dependable, keep their promises, and take responsibility for their actions.
  • Decision-Making: They make choices that uphold moral standards, even in difficult or potentially compromising situations.

Ethical frameworks are perspectives useful for reasoning what course of action may provide the most moral outcome. In many cases, a person may not use a reasoning process but rather do what they simply feel is best at the time. Others may reflexively use a principle they learned from their family, peers, religious teachings or own experiences. The study of ethics has provided many principles that can aid in ethical decision making.

  • Virtue ethics: What is moral is what makes us the best person we could be.
  • Deontology: What is moral is what follows from absolute moral duties.
  • Utilitarianism: What is morally right is what generates the best outcome for the largest number of people.
  • Rights-based Ethics : What is moral is that which is in accord with everyone’s rights.
  • Care-based Ethics : What is moral is that which promotes healthy relationships and the well-being of individuals and their interdependence.

ONE SONG
by RUMI

Every war and every conflict
between human beings has happened
because of some disagreement about names.

It is such an unnecessary foolishness,
because just beyond the arguing
there is a long table of companionship
set and waiting for us to sit down.

What is praised is one, so the praise is one too,
many jugs being poured into a huge basin.
All religions, all this singing, one song.

The differences are just illusion and vanity.
Sunlight looks a little different
on this wall than it does on that wall
and a lot different on this other one,
but it is still the same light.

We have borrowed these clothes,
these time-and-space personalities,
from a light, and when we praise,
we are pouring them back in.

Numerical Connotations

What’s in a number? The Ancients believed numbers were universally connected. Scientifically, the universe is described by fundamental constants and numbers. The number for the Universe is 42. What unlocks the key to the Universe? According to Nikola Tesla, 3, 6, and 9 unlock the secrets of the Universe. He believed these digits were sacred and could unlock the mysteries of existence itself.

Numbers found their way into the meanings of old texts and even the Bible. Everyone and everything have a number or numbers associated with their lives as can be discovered through Gematria and/or Numerology in contemporary times. There isn’t a single universally agreed-upon “most divine number,” as different cultures, religions, and belief systems ascribe varying degrees of significance to different numbers. However, some numbers, like 7, 108, and 18, are often associated with divinity or sacredness in various traditions.  An intriguing aspect of the number 8 is its deep connection to karma—the universal law of cause and effect. In numerology, 8 is often seen as the number of karmic justices, where actions (good or bad) come back to you in equal measure.

Did you know that many believe the number of God is 7? In numerology, master numbers 11, 22, and 33 are considered powerful and spiritually significant, often associated with heightened intuition, vision, and the potential for great achievement or service. They have both positive and negative attributes. Triple Master numbers in numerology refer to completeness, perfection, totality. The Trinity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is 777. Adversely, the Unholy Trinity that apes God is 666. In some Christian numerology, the number 888 is believed to represent Jesus or Christ the Redeemer. 555 is often interpreted as a message of spiritual awakening, transformation, or a call to action, suggesting that significant changes and positive outcomes are on the horizon. 444 symbolizes divine order, stability, God’s sovereignty, and angelic presence or guidance, encouraging trust in God and seeking spiritual guidance. 333 is believed to be connected to angelics and for some Ascended Masters and encourages you to set plans into action and let your personal strength be the guide; to trust yourself and put thought into your choices. 222 is often seen as a sign of balance, harmony, and the encouragement to trust your intuition and the universe, particularly in matters of relationships and new beginnings. 111 is often interpreted as a sign of new beginnings, a call to action, and a message of alignment with your higher self and spiritual purpose, encouraging you to trust the universe and your intuition.

Shamans and shamanic traditions often incorporate numbers and numerology, with specific numbers and patterns holding symbolic or spiritual significance, especially in certain cultures and traditions. In shamanism and Native American spirituality, the number 4 is considered sacred, representing the four directions, seasons, elements, and stages of spiritual evolution. Certain number sequences, like 111, are seen as messages from the spiritual realm, signifying alignment and the connection between the physical and spiritual realms The number 108 is considered sacred in Dharmic religions like Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism.

It must be remembered Numbers bring wonder, amazement and enlightenment. Those who study mathematics at the highest level are somehow compelled to confront the spiritual energies.
