The conflicts of a human's life are directly proportional to the distance at which energy of personality exists separately from the harmonic frequencies that emanates from the divine spark or soul. The Seat of the soul, the eighth chakra holds the ancient knowledge of our soul contracts and ultimately, our life purpose. Through meditation, one can connect with this chakra.

The 8th Chakra is the energy center of divine love, of spiritual compassion and spiritual selflessness. The seat of the soul is the major core star of our energetic system, also holding the records of on what our souls had agreed as specific lessons in our upcoming lifetimes and past lives.

"This meditation begins to activate the transcendental chakras situated above your head. It begins with the Soul Star Chakra, also known as the "seat of the soul" or Halo Chakra. Situated about a hand's length above your head, it is sometimes referred to as the eigth chakra. The Soul Star Chakra contains information relating to your soul; once this first transcendental chakra is activated you will automatically define yourself through gnosis (enlightenment) rathar than external religion or dogma.

The Soul Star Chakra is Moon-White in color or crystal clear. When fully open and activated it links in a spiral fashion to the other six transcendental chakras situated in a line above your head. The next chakra, the Star Gateway, is known as the ninth chakra. It resembles a starburst of energy and is situated at the highest point your hands can reach above your head.

1. Sit in a comfortable meditation posture. Relax your body by focusing on your breathing.

2. Focus your awareness on your Crown Chakra; visualize the thousand-petal lotus flower opening. The thousand petals are arranged from left to right in 20 layers containing 50 petals. The Crown Chakra, normally violet when open, changes to white. The pericarp (seed-vessel) is pure gold.

3. Look deep into the Crown Chakra; see the circular Moon sphere radiating soft reflective light. In the center of the Moon sphere is a luminous downward-pointing triangle of soft golden light. In the center of the triangle is what appears to be a red dot of light.

4. As you gaze at the red dot of light, you see it contains two red crescent moons (one above the other). A white circle is above the first and a red circle of red fire is above teh second. Above them is another white circle containing a red dot of light and a white dot of light.

5. As you continue to gaze at these, become aware of a spiral of light coming out of your Crown chakra that forms a halo of soft crystal-clear light around and above your head. This activates and forms your Halo Chakra.

6. To end the meditation, bring yourself back to everyday waking reality."
