Daily Theme: ODIN (also known as WYRD in some tribes) is known as the Rune of the UNKNOWABLE. It is not historically part of the Elder Futhark but was added later in contemporary times. It is none-the-less very insightful by meaning. As the saying goes, "Blank is the end, blank the beginning." As the Rune of the Unknown, Odin brings in Karmic lessons to be resolved through current proper actions. Know that the old debts of Karma shift and evolve as you shift and evolve thus paying off the old Karmic debt. Destiny can change today if you allow enough self-change to progress. It is a direct challenge and a test of faith. The blankness of this rune is actually an invitation to go deep within. For, the forces that are moving unseen in the background are forces you have put into effect. The forces represent the culmination of your life’s actions to that very moment. The emptiness that is the blank slate at the beginning of our lives is filled by our own actions. These actions cumulate over time creating an energy flow that is carried with us as we move on our life’s path. It is on the small decisions we make moment by moment that we create our future. Odin is reminding you that life is a clean slate, ready to write your future on. None of us is perfect, we all have our foibles and down-sides. It is how we allow them to affect our path to our goals that defines our intentions. When we are willing to go within and face the blank darkness — that part of ourselves we have denied and kept hidden, never allowing the light within. Have faith…to step into the darkness with the realization that somehow your path will be illuminated so that you don’t fall.
