Can a House Have a Vortex?
In the paranormal field, a vortex/wormhole is often described as a space where spirits travel freely between our world (or plane) and the other side(dimension), but the spirit has no real connection to the vortex’s location. Many use this to explain why a haunting continues to occur after a house has been cleansed. It’s also used as an explanation for haunting that continue but have changed or been altered from the original reports. Now reports are being made that a wormhole is the most likely source of travel between dimensions.
Conventional science dismisses facts they can’t explain or replicate consistently. Our culture is so focused on what can be proven through scientific methods that we ignore, dismiss or deny what does not conform to the present day parameters that have been defined for us. It is difficult, if not impossible, to evolve our understanding using this approach so always keep an open mind.
Many researchers believe a vortex may have a connection with ley lines (invisible paths of energy that criss-cross on earth, where the intersecting lines signal where energy is at its strongest). Similar to a water vortex, it can pull in everything around it. Some believe a vortex of energy can either spiral out or spiral in, and can be either positive or negative energy. Allowing them to travel between the planes or dimensions so now you see me and now you don’t. Also many people believe that sacred areas or even places where nothing lives or grows are natural signs of a vortex. All of these theories are very viable in basic explanation of the vortex but none are proven.
In modern times, many Research Investigators and paranormal enthusiasts identify a white rod or streak in a photograph as proof of a vortex. What’s unfortunate is that there may be some truth to a vortex, but rods and streaks in photographs are nothing but orbs maybe, or instead, they are dust, light flares, hair strand and sometimes even a camera strap. Some remain convinced in their beliefs that it is paranormal even when investigators point out these natural explanations to them.
In theory, the possibility of an energetic concentration that could cause paranormal phenomenon has been reported for centuries. Conventional science dismisses facts they can’t explain or replicate consistently but, as our technology rapidly becomes more advanced, and we develop equipment for the paranormal and the average person has more access to devices like digital cameras, video cameras, audio recorders and more sophisticated and technical recording devices will help many paranormal research investigators and unintentional documenters with recording higher volumes of unexplainable events and activities. The fact that these bizarre events are being experienced is no longer in question. What and why these paranormal phenomenas represents is now the question.
The scientific community and other institutions that form our conventional belief systems dismiss any results that can not be consistently replicated or defy contemporary conventional thinking. These quantifiable anomalous nonconforming results that fall into the paranormal category can be assimilated and researched until they ultimately become the basis for our new scientific understanding. Skeptics and so called “debunkers” of paranormal events automatically try to force everything into present day paradigms or because they can create the illusion of the event the actual event wasn’t real in the first place.What do you believe to be true?
Whether you want to call it a vortex, portal or wormhole etc., most hauntings with a vortex have similarities. One strong example is a haunting that continued regardless of whoever is living in the house, apartment and or place. For example, if you move in to a house that has been haunted for as long as people can remember, spanning several owners, then it seems less likely that the phenomena is location-based, rather than being attached to just one person or thing. Also note that some also believe that there is no way to close a vortex, or that it takes a very long time to close one. The question on how to get rid of a vortex is widely debated, since there is little evidence, even by paranormal research investigators standards to begin with. Many agree that a vortex energy can be dispersed or redirected. The solution on how to do that will vary, depending on who you talk to, what their beliefs are.
It is important to remember that nearly every major scientific discovery made was viewed as supernatural, occult or paranormal before it was endorsed by the scientific mainstream. Early in man’s history you could have been tortured or killed with a blasphemous statements like “the earth is round”. Most forerunners of new scientific breakthroughs are referencing “quantum physics” as the basis for comprehending reality in a new meaningful way.We must move forward and develop new equipment to discover the truth.
