...Manifestation, Evolution, Ascension...

I chose to introduce myself with a thought I had the other day, contemplating a logical progression of existence through its material state of being. It may have very much become an analogy that permeates a great deal of cycles observable in life within the physical realm.Where are we at in the great cycle of becoming? Why do we act the way we do and what truly has been, what might come next?Imagine a universe right before physical manifestation. Consciousness has been conceived and established. As it is being given physical manifestation, it finds itself in the unknown, only remembering what it had been and perfectly exposed to whole new imperative; material existence in a material world. It's longing is to be home again, to find itself as what it had been until then. But now it has to focus on this new challenge and abandon its former self.Faced with this challenge it becomes focused entirely on learning to understand physicality, how to live, how to survive. It has to master the basics of material existence and becomes progressively obsessed with it. New generations are being driven by the urges of their ancestors to reign in this new domain.Until eventually consciousness masters the material world. It then can begin to discover its own will, its own awareness of itself beyond pure survival, yet, within the realm of matter.Increasingly it becomes self-conscious again and the need to be alert to material necessities decreases. It can begin to wonder and reconnect to its origin. As it has learned to engage its own adaptivity, it became master not just about the transformation of matter around it, but about self-transformation.Once all the lessons have been learned and all the need within the material world has been transcended, it no longer requires the associated toils. Its own efforts to ascend again become conscious and it is that consciousness itself which signalizes the completion of the cycle it had been intended for. That which spawned it, receives it, crystallized as pathway of perfect understanding and restructured in all its complexity as one out of many out of one.

Summary: Purity exposed to physicality becomes materialistic out of necessity until such necessity ceases and skill surpasses materialism until matter has served its purpose and ascension becomes the natural departure from physical existence in fulfillment.

In spiritual circles, I think, people often think of consciousness IN matter, but as part of the above thought I wonder, if it was not more appropriate to think of consciousness AS matter- that we find ourselves not trapped within a vestment, but that this vestment in this present state represents us in its completeness. Only as we transform ourselves through true self-actualization, we may evolve beyond a state of matter that finds its description outside of the aid of form. Evident by the shear fact of physical formation and eventual destruction again, there is no true self-actualization within material existence, but only a milestone on our path to the beyond.
